I am originally from Queens, New York, where my brother and I were adopted and raised by our parents, themselves Holocaust survivors. My mother was an amazing women who would help anyone in need and spoke five different languages fluently! My father was a pattern maker in the garment district. Both of them instilled their values of integrity, hard work and honesty in me. I have lived in Piscataway for 13 years with my husband Elliott and our four children, as well as many other foster children whom we have cared for over the years. This is a true love that I have, to see these children grow and blossom into young adults. I am running to be a committeeperson to involve more people in the decisions that affect our neighborhood and its future. As a nurse, a foster parent and an active member of our community, I look forward to making sure everyone is heard and everyone is cared for in our area.
