Roshanna, a Township resident for 35 years, graduated Piscataway High School and earned a psychology degree from Kean University. A small business owner with her husband Christopher Hendrick, she is the proud mom of two sons who attend Piscataway’s public schools.
Roshanna is working improve the quality of life and better representation for her neighborhood. She wants to represent Ward 1, District 1 to address the issues that have gone unanswered by the current elected officials: improved roads, community safety and responsiveness. Many people in our area feel they are not heard and that the incumbents have forgotten us. Roshanna is running to change that.
Remi Christofferson is a mother, wife and educator. She is currently a principal with over 19 years of experience in the public schools. She received a Doctorate of Education from Kean University.
As a public servant, Remi has volunteered in the following capacities: Member of M.R.S. (Members of a Responsible Society) Club of Plainfield, Delta Pi Educational Sorority, Agape Family Worship Center Core Member and a past Board of Trustee for the Boys and Girls Club of Union County. Remi has decided to run for County Committee to represent her community and to provide support and transparency to residents in Ward 1 District 1. As a resident in 1-1, she believes that it is disheartening to hear individuals refer to Ward 1 as “the forgotten ward!” Remi believes that she lives in a ward where residents demonstrate that they care about their community, home ownership and the safety and well-being of everyone!
Remi is looking forward to campaigning for the opportunity to represent her community! She currently resides in Piscataway with her husband and daughter.
